At the occasion of the 38th ICRI General Meeting will be hosted in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, the International Coral Reef Initiative, and the GCRMN, will convene key data contributors from the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden region to discuss data contribution to the next Status of Coral Reefs of the World report, as well as support collaboration in the region.

This meeting will take place prior to the GCRMN Steering Committee meeting.

This event is invite only.

The 38th General Meeting will be hosted in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, by the General Organization for Conservation of Coral Reefs and Turtles in the Red Sea (SHAMS). This will be the third meeting under the chairmanship of the United States of America.

Prior to the commencement of the 38th ICRI General Meeting, the GCRMN will convene its steering committee on Sunday 8th September 2024.
